How old were you when you wrote and composed your first song?
I was 15 when I wrote my first song. I was in church (we didn't lock the doors and I would go there after hours and play piano). The song title was "People Call Me Jesus," and it was on my first album.

URBANA — "Viva Verdi," opening tonight at Krannert Center, could be described as Verdi's greatest hits.
Or perhaps a Reader's Digest compilation of the best of Verdi and some of his contemporaries of late 19th-century opera.
The pieces, of course, will be sung in Italian, with English supertitles above the stage.
